POSTMAN PAT RETIRES, MAKING WAY FOR NEW ALTON TOWERS RIDE

After over eleven years, Postman Pat Parcel Post is now permanently closed at Alton Towers.

Pat’s removal has been expected for a while, as the park have submitted planning permission for a new coaster to replace the attraction in CBeebies Land. Whilst there is always a chance that the Metallbau Emmeln ride system will be reused elsewhere, there doesn’t seem to be any immediate plans to reinstall it at Alton Towers or another Merlin Entertainments park.
