WHEN DO UK THEME PARKS OPEN IN 2025?

Winter can be a tough time for theme park fans in the UK, but the good news is that re-openings for the UK’s largest parks is in sight.
Some parks open limited attractions in the off-season, but most will be fully re-opening in mid to late March. Here’s a quick overview of when you can get back to riding your favourite attractions in 2025.
ALTON TOWERS
The season begins properly on Saturday 15th March, and even better is that it kicks-off with the returning Alton After Dark event, where rides are open to 8pm. It’s a chance to get on favourites such as Oblivion, The Smiler, Nemesis, Galactica, plus maybe the new addition Toxicator.
BLACKPOOL PLEASURE BEACH
The Pleasure Beach will be reopening every weekend in March, beginning from Saturday 1st.
CHESSINGTON WORLD OF ADVENTURES
Whilst Chessington is already open with limited attractions and the zoo, the full line-up returns in late March. You can get back on classics such as Vampire and Dragon’s Fury, plus the more recent Mandrill Mayhem, from Friday 21st March.
DRAYTON MANOR
Limited openings already taking place. Full theme park opens again from Saturday 29th March.
LEGOLAND WINDSOR
One of the most visited theme parks in the UK, Legoland Windsor is already open for the 2025 season.
PAULTONS PARK
Home of Peppa Pig World and much more, Paultons Park is already open weekends with a limited lineup, but returns in full from Friday 28th March.
THORPE PARK
Your first chance to experience the UK’s tallest ride, Hyperia, and many more in 2025 is from Friday 28th March.
