SPECIAL EVENTS FOR VAMPIRE'S 35th BIRTHDAY

Chessington World of Adventures will be marking the legendary Vampire ride's 35th birthday this April with a couple of special events.

The coaster has a special place in many visitors' hearts, as it's the perfect family thrill ride, with a treetop layout and swinging motion. It's been updated a couple of times since it's launch in 1990, most notably at the start of the century when floorless trains were introduced.

The two events are as follows:

11th April | Behind the Scenes Tour

On Friday 11th April, join the legendary John Wardley and experience the ultimate behind the scenes tour of Vampire after having some exclusive ride time on the roller coaster, then get a sneak peek behind the scenes at Tomb Blaster, and wrap up your experience with a delicious dinner in Vampire Burger Kitchen.

£225 per person (£195 for Merlin Annual Passholders)

12th April | Birthday Lunch and Q&A with John Wardley

Exclusive Vampire Buffet Lunch with John Wardley in Chessington’s Resort Hotel, including Vampire themed dessert, followed by a Q&A where you can ask questions alongside celebrating the big day.
